Sustainable Development Goals
The Sustainable Development Goals, the follow up to the Millennium Development Goals, aim to end poverty and tackle inequality and injustice. One of the goals is to ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all. As part of this goal, the world aims to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030. Fast-moving scientific developments, such as treatment as prevention, have fuelled optimism that this goal can be achieved.
