South Africa's first AIDS cases

South Africa reports two cases of AIDS in men, who both later die of pneumocystis carinii pneumonia (PCP). They are both white gay flight attendants who have recently travelled to California, USA. Like elsewhere in the world, South Africa’s AIDS epidemic starts among gay men before spreading through the general population.
