New 95-95-95 targets set

UNAIDS announces its 2025 targets for HIV services, called the 95-95-95. The first target area focuses on achieving testing and treatment targets within all key populations and age groups. The second prioritises women, calling for 95% of women of reproductive age to have their HIV and sexual and reproductive health service needs met, for 95% of pregnant and breastfeeding women living with HIV to have suppressed viral loads, and for 95% of HIV-exposed children to be tested by 2025. The third set targets for 95% of people at risk of HIV infection to use appropriate, prioritised, person-centred and effective combination prevention options.
