DATA: Donor funding by channel
The years 2002-2008 see a significant increase in funding for the global HIV response from donor governments. However, since then funding has more or less flat-lined. While multilateral organisations such as the Global Fund and UNITAID have attracted considerable investments, governments continue to channel the majority of their funding through bilateral (direct) channels.
