Denialism

Dr Peter Duesberg publishes a scientific paper in a cancer journal that questions the then-dominant theory that viruses are involved in cancer causation. He also queries the link between HIV and AIDS. His beliefs give birth to a movement of AIDS denialism which is widely discredited by medical and scientific evidence.
