Ugandan campaign
A campaign is launched in Uganda to target intergenerational relationships and ‘sugar-daddies’. These relationships put young girls at risk of HIV, partly because the power dynamic makes them less able to negotiate condom use. The campaign receives a lot of attention and shocks many people in Uganda, where these types of relationships are common place. Some even accuse the campaign of attacking normal, healthy relationships.
